Ischia Scalloped Fabric Pendant Light

An ecru fabric shade stretched over a ribbed frame and finished with a scalloped hem: the Ischia scalloped pendant light hollows slightly between each rib, giving it the softness of a cupola rather than a cone.

Switched on, light passes through the fabric and reveals its irregular weave, while the scallops cut the pool of light below into a garland of arcs that no straight-edged shade can create. The fabric keeps its grain, slubs and slightly uneven ecru tone, and as a supple material its tension relaxes a little over time, deepening the curve of the scallops.
