Skopelos Open-Weave Rattan Bell Pendant Light

A large rattan bell, woven in wide diamonds over a frame of vertical strands, flares gently toward the bottom before closing into a clean circle: the Skopelos rattan bell pendant light is open enough to see right through.

Once lit, the bell glows from within and lets out a checkerboard of light that spreads widely across the walls and ceiling; it sets a mood more than it floods the room. The rattan keeps its irregular strands and shades from sand to honey.

At 30 cm (11.8 in) across and 30 cm (11.8 in) tall, it has the volume to stand alone above a round table, a dining nook or an armchair, and stays light as a pair over an island thanks to its openwork, where a solid shade would look heavy.
