Sélinonte Slim Marble Tube Pendant Light

A marble tube just 4 cm (1.6 in) across and 28 cm (11 in) tall, cut from stone thin enough to let light through along its whole length: the Sélinonte slim marble pendant light is a vertical stroke that gives structure to a wall or corner.

Once lit, the stone glows from within and its veining shows as darker lines along the column. It is designed for mood lighting rather than general lighting. The pale marble shows a different pattern on every piece, and the fitting is reduced to a canopy and a fine cord.

Very narrow, it slips above a nightstand, into a hallway or on either side of a headboard without taking up visual space, and hung low over an island it traces a clean vertical line.
