Ravello Rattan Cane Petal Chandelier

About ten petals of rattan cane webbing, each edged in fine black steel wire, fan out like a star around the glowing core of this large rattan chandelier. No two petals face the same way, so the whole piece seems to turn, open and close depending on where you stand.

Once lit, every petal becomes a small translucent screen that sends light in its own direction, scattering crisp shadows across the ceiling and making the room feel larger than it is. Three generous sizes: the 60 cm (23.6 in) width suits a classic dining table, the 80 cm (31.5 in) works over large tables and kitchen islands, and the 100 cm (39.4 in) fills a stairwell, a double-height living room or an entrance hall.

Mounted petal by petal on a slender frame, the cane stays airy despite its span. It pairs naturally with raw wood, travertine, polished concrete and limewashed walls, in contemporary, Mediterranean or boho-chic interiors. Because each petal is set by hand, the arrangement varies slightly from one piece to the next.
