Serifos Dense-Weave Rattan Bell Pendant Light

A dense, tight weave of natural rattan wraps the whole volume of the Serifos rattan bell pendant light. Its narrow neck flares gradually into a generous bell, closed in on itself like an upturned basket.

Most of the light falls through the open base in a clean, defined halo on the table or floor, with only a veil filtering through the sides, where an openwork weave would scatter it everywhere. Warm and textured, it reads as a sculptural piece in its own right, even when switched off.

At 26 cm (10.2 in) across and 26 cm (10.2 in) tall, it works alone above a nightstand in an arched alcove, or as a pair or trio above a kitchen island or dining table.
