Coré Abaca Flower Pendant Light

Curved abaca petals, layered on two tiers, open like a corolla in full bloom. Each one is held by a fine black metal rim that traces its outline without ever overpowering the pale fiber of the Coré abaca pendant light.

When the bulb is on, light passes through the abaca and illuminates every petal from within, creating a soft, diffused halo. Seen from below, the glowing heart sits at the center of the flower while the black rims cut a crisp edge. Small variations in tone and weave from petal to petal reflect its artisanal making.

At 35 cm (13.8 in) across, it reads as a piece in its own right: above a nightstand in place of a lamp, or as a pair on either side of the bed to frame the headboard with warm, symmetrical light.
