Patmos Cane and Fabric Cube Pendant Light

An unusual geometry for a light: two stacked cubes, the larger in rattan cane webbing and the smaller in white fabric, both edged with a dark trim. The Patmos cube pendant light shows the regular diamond cane pattern of classic mid-century Mediterranean armchairs.

The two materials give the piece its structure: the open cane on top releases a dappled light toward the ceiling, while the off-white fabric below filters a softer glow into the room. Its crisp edges set it apart from the many rounded fiber pendants.

At 30 cm (11.8 in) across and 22 cm (8.7 in) tall, it takes up little space and pairs particularly well with light wood, linen and stone, the white fabric softening the geometry.
