Velia Travertine Drum Pendant Light

A wide, low drum of travertine with thick, pitted walls, closed at the top by a dark wood cap that matches the stone's exact diameter: the Velia travertine drum pendant light has squat, almost archaeological proportions.

When lit, light descends in a wide circle beneath the stone and bounces off the table while the walls stay dark, and the contrast between the dark wood and the pale travertine reads from across the room. The stone ranges from sand to rosy beige, so no two drums are exactly alike.

At 12 cm (4.7 in) across and 10 cm (3.9 in) tall, it never crowds the space: alone above a nightstand or console, or in twos and threes over a kitchen island without closing off the view.
